Philadelphia Office Closed
From
KYW:

Since October, the Social Security Administration has closed three of its offices in the Philadelphia region. ...
The office served about 100 people a day, roughly 26,000 a year ...
The Social Security Administration responded to KYW Newsradio‘s
request for information today with a written statement saying, “Tighter
budget, including cuts due to sequestration, have exacerbated our
ability to serve members of the public who need our services, resulting

Still 8 offices listed as being in the Philadelphia area. How many MVA or IRS offices in Philadelphia?
I'm sure there are good employees in many offices but if ssa have numerous offices in one city then unfortunately fiscal responsibility would dictate closure of some of them. Personally i prefer the web services and am very hopeful for stronger online account services.
Can't do SSI on internet. Half of SSA's workload is SSI.
