Frye Out As President Of AALJ

Randall Frye of Charlotte has been the president of the Association of Administrative Law Judges (AALJ), the labor union that represents Social Security's Administrative Law Judges for some time. I understand that he has left that position. He is resuming his regular duties as an ALJ. I do not know the circumstances of Frye's departure from his position at AALJ.

Frye is not running for reelection. The Union is in the process of voting for officers as we speak.

He has not left that position and will be serving in that position at the AALJ Conference in New Orleans next week. He decided not to run for re-election. The contest for President and upper level positions in the AALJ Union seems to be a very heated race. Unfortunately very few of the candidates have any clue as to what they are trying to get themselves into. This is and will be an interesting time in the AALJ Union history. As has been said and is in print, SSA/ODAR is an Agency at war with it self. More expectations, fewer tools..

I beg to differ - I have met quite a few tools at SSA/ODAR...
