The 12th day of Christmas is 1/6 so i don’t understand why people take down Christmas decorations prior to 1/7.
Not until the 5th or 6th! (Depending on the denomination).
I took down the outside decorations but I will leave inside for this weekend since its supposed to snow in my area on Sunday, great excuse to stay in and do it.
Correcting my own comment: 1/5 is the 12th day of Xmas but 1/6, Epiphany, is an appropriate ending date if the Xmas season.
