The American voter only has themselves to blame for this type of budget.

WASHINGTON – The House of Representatives today passed an appropriations bill that would renew ICE’s excessive budget, with no strings attached, adding to the over $170 billion in taxpayer funds already allocated for immigration enforcement in July 2025.

Passage of this budget is far from over in the Senate but a government shutdown is a real possibility.

The legislation needs 60 votes to secure passage in the chamber, where Republicans control 53 seats. And a number of key Democrats who have voted for recent appropriations measures said they’ll vote against funding the Department of Homeland Security unless restrictions are put on how immigration officers carry out enforcement operations.

Only a $50 million increase over 2025. But $494 million increase in RZs/LIs/CDRs. So essentially a major cut for all other services.

Don't forget that 7,000 people are off the rolls.

There’s a really good chance this legislation is now as dead as ICE’s victims.

50 million is a drop in the bucket. What exactly will it be used for?
