At today's hearing before the Senate Budget Committee, Acting Social Security Commissioner Carolyn Colvin was asked about her nomination for a term as Commissioner of Social Security. She said that she had not been re-nominated since the new Congress began but that she expected to be re-nominated.

Goodness gracious, let's hope she is wrong.
It will be an absolute diseaster if she is
renominated and confirmed.
Leadership with new ideas needed, not these we continue to see coming off the retirement bench.
Does it matter whether she's there or not there? What has she done?
It's what she has not done and believe me,
