Something seems weird with the Deputy Chief Actuary on the chart. It says (Vacant) and then it says Michael L. Stephens. How can it be both vacant and occupied at the same time?
AC King should issue a statement clarifying whether current levels of telework will continue at SSA for 5 years, as specified in the O"Malley /AFGE contract. She sent out an email yesterday, but not a word about what everyone is talking about, and the rumor mill is running full steam within SSA.
Trump's executive order says to end remote work fort federal workers. , We need to know. whether that applies to SSA workers who have union negotiated contracts. AFGE is indicating his executive order will not to apply to these SSA workers.

Given her past behavior, the answer is certainly yes. King and her ilk have demonstrated time and time again that they have contempt for the staff in the field, and have never passed up on an opportunity to violate their collective bargaining rights. Remember, these snakes had to be called out repeatedly by the Biden administration before they even started discussions with the unions to begin unwinding the catastrophic damage done by the first Trump administration.

There are two deputies. One is now vacant.

weird, it still shows Nagle as CALJ. He left that position a few months ago
