I have looked at this again and am not sure that the answer is correct. It is unquestionably right for SSI (Title XVI) -- no question. Does T. II have the same 10 day rule (plus 5 for mailing)???
The rule is the same for both title II and title XVI. See Program Operations Manual System (POMS) DI 12027.001A and DI 12027.008A.
