LOL what illegals are getting social security? NONE. Foreign entities? What does this even mean? If they’ve paid into the system and have legal status, they are entitled to draw benefits, PERIOD. “And others who abuse the system” WHO? If you’re going to make accusations, go into detail.
After decades of service at SSA, I never saw or even heard about a single non-citizen or foreign entity receiving benefits. Probably because the system makes ghat impossible. And we’ve all seen fraud. But it’s far lower than the level seen in the private insurance industry, and firing IGs and staff and turning the levers of power over to an ignorant South Afrcan manbaby and the racist gang of ignorant children he’s grooming isn’t gonna help one bit with that.
10:16 is correct, he is talking about "any potential fraud" and yet everyone goes crazy because "Trump want to end Social Security", well no he does not, but in rooting out any fraud he can make the Trust fund last longer- who on this Blog would NOT want that?
No one is saying not to go after fraud, but if you think the fraud is caused by “millions of people”, I have some ocean front property in Kansas to sell you.
@11:42: Illiterate? The problem people have is that the harm his destructive behavior is causing is far away (by many many magnitudes) more harmful to the program’s viability than the very small amount of fraud that exists in it.
I hope you get to experience life without social security and post-retirement healthcare coverage though, since you’ve demonstrated you don’t deserve either.
I have practiced in this area for 40+ years. I have never run into an undocumented human being receiving any kind of Social Security benefit. But I have run into undocumented aliens paying into a system where they have no hope of receiving the benefits.
If I believed one word of what Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dummer said, I would support their efforts to control fraud and waste. But the evidence proves 1) they are the fraudsters and criminals; and 2) they want to tear down the entire government and replace it with an oligarchic kakistocracy to enrich themselves and their ilk.
