If you’ve been wanting a news article to sort of reassure you about the current status of Social Security the Deseret News from deeply Republican Utah has you covered.

I guess you can write this if your head is in the sand or someplace else. It’s no secret that SSA systems need updating; but that takes resources and expertise, not a meat cleaver that hinders the agency’s ability to provide necessary services.
Charles did you get a chance to listen to Mr. Bisignano? He has a plan to get the wait time to under a minute. Many at the agency are excited to see what he can do. Do you have an update on his status?
The article raises valid points. There is no call for liberal newspapers to run headlines scaring the public, such as “Are Social Security checks being delayed? What to know about the April payment schedule” and “How Social Security cuts could put older Americans at risk.”

His plan is firing all the teleservice technicians and having all calls "answered" by AI.
