A Message to All SSA Employees

Subject: Time Sensitive: ‘Accomplishments’ Assignment

You should have received an email yesterday from the sender “HR” requesting that you reply to that email with 5 bullets about your accomplishments last week. This email is a legitimate assignment and should not be reported as spam. You must take the action requested by the deadline.

Things to do:

This is an opportunity to highlight the important work you do that helps impact the lives of those we serve.
Reply to the email from HR with 5 bullets describing your accomplishments:
Don’t include any sensitive or confidential information, including details that aren’t available to the public.
Where relevant, include the specific SSA programs or operational priorities that your accomplishments support.
Include your immediate supervisor in the cc line of your response.

Deadline:

Your response to the HR email is due no later than 11:59pm EST on Monday, February 24, 2025.

So much for the acting commissioner standing up for SSA employees. Making us reply to this demeaning assignment, which only takes time away from the work we do helping the public.

And what is this nonsense that we are supposed to include in our response how my work advances "the Administration's priorities". My job is to help Social Security claimants, process claims. I don't care which administration is the White House, Democrat or Republican.

I don't have time time or the crayons needed to explain what I do to these morons, much less condense it down to bullet points. What a waste of time and taxpayer money.

Anonymous said...

I'm an outsider, member of the public.

Is this meant to demean the men and women working at SSA?

It seems like a homework assignment for students.

I worked my butt off serving the public, about half of which doesn’t deserve anything more than a s**t-sandwich. And unlike Elon and Trump, I didn’t spend a single second reading Twitter (that’s right jacka$$), getting into childish fights, calling heroes ”fully retarded“, playing video games or golf, watching Fox News, using illegal drugs, bullying my staff, or abusing my authority to divert taxpayers’ funds into my wallet or force businesses to advertise on my failing social media platform.

Duh

I had the same schedule as the President last week.

Monday thru Friday… golfing.

Yes, the point is to demean and demoralize. Why I am I wasting my time with this. Run a DART report and you will know what I’m doing. I am sick of this sh— from these idiots. This new management is an embarrassment and a joke

The ACoss is a weasel.

Anonymous said...

Oh my - if you thought Lee was going to stand up for SSA employees, you haven't been paying an ounce of attention this week....

Anonymous said...

Um …. FOIA ?

Anonymous said...

You should not be surprised that Quisling is all-in on the nonsense.

Anonymous said...

Sorry, I meant Dudek. I'm 150 and getting paid benefits so sometimes I forget which traitorous collaborator is which.

Anonymous said...

From a 4 day workweek no less.

Anonymous said...

And if you don't respond? Like whose going to review over a million replies!?!? Shiz dumb AF

Anonymous said...

I mean, has the administration even articulated any priorities for SSA?

Anonymous said...

Good thing I don't still work for SSA. My answer would consist of two words.

With approximately millions of response across the entire federal government, DOGE must be sending this data through an AI analysis tool. It is clearly part of a much bigger goal to replace as many federal employees as possible by the mid term elections.
They are probably feeding the data into the new ChatGPT Gov or a comparable xAI system that will build a job profile and define a comprehensive scope of work for each job series in the government.

The infrastructure is already in place to make this change happen sooner than most people realize. For instance OpenAI released ChatGPT Gov that is compliant with federal law. It also can easily integrate with the Microsoft services used as SSA.

He's simply trying to weed out fraud, as there are people collecting checks who do so little work they don't even bother to check email. It's a simple 5 minute exercise to help root out more fraud, and that's it! Why the uproar and panic? Why so much resistance to trying to get our 36 trillion debt down? If we default, and someday we might, then we are really in trouble.

Anonymous said...

Bringing down the 36 trillion dollar debt while giving 4.5 trillion giveaway to the top one percent. This is a master businessman who filed for bankruptcy SIX times!

Anonymous said...

Is that you, Lee? 5 minutes x 55k employees / 8 hour workday is 573 lost work days of productivity across the entire agency with what I can only imagine will become a weekly exercise. How's that for waste? And let's be frank, 5 minutes per employee is a very low estimate. Supervisors will review the responses, employees with draft and redraft before sending out of the fear that has been created. It's a spiral of wasted productivity.

The 36 trillion dollar debt…

One of President Donald Trump’s lesser known but profoundly damaging legacies will be the explosive rise in the national debt that occurred on his watch. The financial burden that he’s inflicted on our government will wreak havoc for decades, saddling our kids and grandkids with debt.

The national debt has risen by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump’s time in office. That’s nearly twice as much as what Americans owe on student loans, car loans, credit cards and every other type of debt other than mortgages, combined, according to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country.

If you ever need a witness statement to corroborate your having marked limitations in URA and adapting, I’ll be happy to provide you with one. Anyone that thinks these exercises are being done to root out fraud, waste, or abuse undoubtedly meets a listing.

Hats off to Lee Dudek. He is one of the best commissioners we have had and will surely drain the SSA swamp.

Musk's AI

Anonymous said...

Actually, some days I'm too busy working my front-line position to check Email. Helping claimants is my first priority.
Also, many employees are on leave on Monday and will never see Musk's Email until the deadline is past. Musk evidentially does not even realize that checking Email does not equate to being a good public servant.

Do you think your average American knows that SSA, the largest trust fund in the world with assets approaching three TRILLION dollars is now being run by a bootlicking traitorous middle-management cuck who has zero executive experience and literally went from fries to running the entire franchise OVERNIGHT? Yeah, that makes me sleep safe at night.

Anonymous said...

You're not fooling anyone, Leland.

Anonymous said...

So most SSA employees will not see Sat or Sunday emails until Mon morning so not a lot of work going on Monday it seems.

Anonymous said...

Dudek's downfall will be sooooooooo epic! He's like one of the French Nutzi sympathizers - their find out phase took time to hit, but once it did...oh boy. Stock up on popcorn, everyone.

Anonymous said...

I don’t think they care what was done. I think the point is to see who will obey.

Anonymous said...

It is disturbing that SSA is taking Elon’s stunt seriously when other government entities, like the Department of Defense, the State Department and the FBI, are telling their employees to ignore the email. Come on SSA! Asking you to stand up to Elon like Kash Patel is really a low bar!

All I can say is, some of us have been doing this daily whenever working from home since 2016, to our supervisor, who then forwards it up the chain. It's become fairly routine. However it is not done when working on-site as we are then being 'supervised'. It always strikes me as odd though b/c when on-site there are days when I never see or communicate in any way with my supervisor.

Anonymous said...

Most employees are not legally allowed to work on Saturday or Sunday.

Anonymous said...

I will complete the email by noon on Monday since SSA has a MAGA sympathizer currently running the agency.

Anonymous said...

I have to bullet point my accomplishments to my supervisor at the end of each day. What's the big deal? Maybe because this is a redundant exercise and the opposite of efficiency? Go fuck yourself in the face, Elon Hitler!

Anonymous said...

Someone who does the work of the agency has little trouble with this inquiry. Chances are you don't do this, so feel free to refuse to condescend into resignation.

Anonymous said...

Giving professional working adults who have a lot of other work to do a pointless assignment that one might compare to "homework for students" while implying the reason for the assignment is that they don't think that the professional adults who are doing incredibly complicated and demanding work that is meticulously tracked and accounted for at multiple levels...is demeaning, yes.

From President Trump..

ELON IS DOING A GREAT JOB, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM GET MORE AGGRESSIVE. REMEMBER, WE HAVE A COUNTRY TO SAVE, BUT ULTIMATELY, TO MAKE GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. MAGA!

Anonymous said...

From President Musk..

Subsequently, Elon Musk sent out the following notice on X:

A large number of good responses have been received already. These are the people who should be considered for promotion.

Anonymous said...

From President Musk…

The reason this matters is that a significant number of people who are supposed to be working for the government are doing so little work that they are not checking their email at all!

In some cases, we believe non-existent people or the identities of dead people are being used to collect paychecks. In other words, there is outright fraud.

Anonymous said...

In keeping with the very mature president’s spongebob post:

What Elon Musk and Donald Trump did last week:

1. Cried about how their fathers think/thought they are weak, pathetic babies.
2. Cried about being weak, pathetic babies.
3. Cried about being hated by their own children.
4. Cried about their low IQs.
5. Cried about their microscopic genitalia.

SSA is actually being run by a handful of raiders from a private venture capital firm, Valor Equity Partners, not surprisingly associated with Musk and Space X. Leland Dudek will be the patsy in a very tragic corporate takeover of the Federal Government and American Economy by the richest man in the world.
