The Social Security Administration is asking Court approval to let DOGE team members back in to the agency's databases. If these DOGE employees employees actually do what they say they're going to do all but one of them, at best, will be engaged in a ridiculous waste of time. I thought they were trying to root out wasteful behavior, not engage in it. See below and, as always, click on the image to view full size:

The teenage DOGE employee who went by the online username “Big Balls” used to run a company that provided tech support to a cybercrime group, according to Reuters.
In 2022, Edward Coristine ran a company called DiamondCDN that provided network services. One of its users was a group of cybercriminals known as EGodly, who openly bragged about stealing phone numbers and cryptocurrency, hacking law enforcement emails in South America and Eastern Europe, cyberstalking an FBI agent in Delaware, and trafficking other stolen data. The group, now retired, even thanked Coristine’s company for its support in 2023.
“We extend our gratitude to our valued partners DiamondCDN for generously providing us with their amazing DDoS protection and caching systems, which allow us to securely host and safeguard our website,” the group said. Coristine did not reply to Reuters’s request for comment.
It should be alarming that a teen who used to work with a cybercrime group now has wide access to the inner workings of the federal government and the personal information of millions of Americans.
Elon Musk, who has expressed support for Big Balls in the past, has yet to comment.
SSA has had “life certification” programs in place for years that require staff to contact aged beneficiaries to certify life. See Centenarian Project (started in 2010 for T2 benes over age 100), Medicare Non-Utilization Project (aka “MNUP” for benes over age 90 who haven’t used Medicare in three or more years) and Gerontology Limited Issue (for SSI recipients over 90 years of age). This is a waste of time and resources.
Didn’t you get the memo? People love turning their government over to confirmed criminals now. They elected a CONVICTED FELON to be their president!
Seems they are already hacking first with sporadic systems issues nationwide this week. And a new blast email asking us to now use new contact email addresses for at least one agency program.
Seems they should be asking the courts for forgiveness and not permission.
Not to mention the age 115 or older termination process that has existed since 09/2015.

"out of an abundance of caution" SSA will not be providing access until 1 p.m. today. I don't see any sign of caution.
This is pure baloney. The work they describe that they need the DOGE people to do can be done by regular SSA personnel who actually know what they are looking at and what they are doing. It's not that complicated and has probably already been done to some extent in the past.
Literally the definition of waste! What a meaningful task to ensure that John Doe, born in 1905, who never lived to get any benefits, has a death date on his Numi! 🙄

Wondering if Amy Gleason is in a Witness Protection Program.
Amy Gleason, the acting administrator of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), was nowhere to be seen during Fox News' Bret Baier's wide-ranging interview with Elon Musk and top DOGE officials.
Elon Musk and seven members of his so-called “department of government efficiency” sat down for a rare interview on Thursday evening on Fox News, defending their efforts amid public backlash and concern over cuts to key government agencies.
Over the course of an hour-long sit down with host Bret Baier, Musk and team members repeatedly attempted to assuage fears over Doge’s targeting of agencies such as the Social Security Administration. Musk also downplayed the number of government employees his initiative has targeted in cuts, saying it was a small percentage of the overall government workforce and others left voluntarily.
“Basically almost no one has gotten fired,” Musk claimed. His initiative has planned to layoff or offer buyouts to 100,000 federal employees, although courts have ordered thousands of workers to be reinstated after finding they were illegally fired.
