Expecting a miracle? This nomination will go through since the opposition is a party of one.

The sabotage of Social Security and Medicare continues unchecked.

SSA systems went down this morning. Astrue and O’Malley predicted it. Nothing says efficiency like being dead in the water.

The large and unique Philadelphia and New York Regions were disbanded and placed under control of one of SSA's smallest Regions in Boston. Now those field offices, and those in other Regions that were obliterated, have no support. Some offices are out of paper and can't buy more because credit cards are reduced to $1. There are no support people to solve the daily problems that pop up in an office. They reassigned all programmers to claims-taker jobs and SSA's Systems (currently down for long duration, several times during the day over the past week) are failing. No one knows what to do or what is planned or what their job is. The agency has been totally upended for no reason. This destruction and uprooting of employee lives is being done by someone without even a basic Systems Design and Analysis class. Hopefully the new COSS will see the unwarranted destruction of staffs and revert back to the 10 Region structure.

Efforts to accelerate destruction are underway. Even if Frank showed up tomorrow, what's left is rubble. People in leadership jobs that architected the demise of the agency, compounded by DOGE. All with zero integrity, service motivation, or leadership skills. This is not the same agency we once knew.

We aren't counting on Frank Bisignano to save SSA. Have you seen his track record with Fiserv? He's already pulling the strings behind the scenes before being confirmed by the Senate...which is highly illegal. In fact, he perjured himself twice during his confirmation hearing on March 25th.

Thankfully, the employees still have integrity, service motivation, and leadership skills. They're the only thing saving the sinking ship, and putting themselves through hell trying to do it too.

Come on Frank, get here already so you can continue the cuts and start the outsourcing already. It is painful waiting for you to show up.
