Judge To Lee Dudek: Quit Being An Ass

Lee probably consulted Musk directly on what the stupidest public reaction should be.

Let’s be honest, this is way above Leland Dudek pay level. The order was not difficult to understand.

It’s awesome that he told on himself. Trump admin lawyers constantly lie about DOGE’s involvement in order to circumvent the law. Whoopsie daisy.

Anybody with half a brain would not put themselves in legal jeopardy. Leland, get ready to be subpoenaed in two years before Congress. The Social Security proponents will be watching closely.

Like I said in the original post about the TRO, the idea that he doesn't know exactly who this applies to is belied by the fact that he terminated access privileges to the 10 DOGE workers immediately and nobody else. He's playing the part of a guy bent over a barrel willing to say anything to save his hide. So he complied with the order and is able to demonstrate to his superiors that he is still 100% on board by saying he will shut it all down if that is what they tell him to do. It must be exhausting to be him where the last decision you made on your own was to break the law and now you completely lack any agency in your day-to-day life because you're too much of a coward to do what is actually right.

He's on record that he's just doing whatever he's told, even things he knows are wrong and harm the agency's ability to perform its service to the American public. A pathetic puppet, a Vichy ACOSS who will forever be associated with contempt for his former colleagues and the law. Leland can be studied as a casebook example of the banality of evil.

Not strongly religious but thank god for the judiciary.

Well that was fast!

Statement from Acting Commissioner Dudek about Temporary Restraining Order

“Today, the Court issued clarifying guidance about the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) related to DOGE employees and DOGE activities at the Social Security Administration (SSA). Therefore, I am not shutting down the agency. President Trump supports keeping Social Security offices open and getting the right check to the right person at the right time. SSA employees and their work will continue under the TRO.”

Now the question becomes will Dumbo Dudek actually keep his word or will he still let Sleazy E and his Peter Pan Posse shut SSA down?

Leland, who in the White House did you talk to?

“[The White House] called me and let me know it’s important to reaffirm to the public that we’re open for business,” he told the Washington Post on Friday. “The White House did remind me that I was out of line and so did the judge, and I appreciate that.”

Is this a dystopian movie or a comedy? Not sure which fits better…

This judge is a nut. Trying to run the government from the bench. This will be overturned on appeal as she was in many of her other cases.

Anonymous said...

Yeah no. Keep that Vichy perspective though. It really works out in the end…

I’m glad you got the Republican talking points. We don’t want an unelected individual cutting federal jobs … like President Musk. Maybe you need to brush up on the three equal branches of government.

You should smoke less crack.

I worked with Leland and he's not that stupid but he also isn't likely writing most of anything he puts his name to. So yes, those DOGE teenagers could and likely are indeed "that stupid". You gotta love how he thanks the judge as if the clarification was actually needed and takes the blame. Again, the DOGE boys telling the lap dog to take the hit.

@5:22 Piss off Elon. She is not a nut. This is the mother of Orioles broadcaster Brett Hollander. https://www.linkedin.com/in/brett-hollander-a666a9231/
Please make yourself useful by continuing to blow up rockets and tank Tesla stock.

Federal workers are sharply divided over President Donald Trump’s return-to-office mandate, and more than a quarter of those who say they were previously able to do their jobs from home are actively looking for another job, according to a Washington Post-Ipsos poll.

Across the federal workforce, 49 percent of employees support and 50 percent oppose a five-day in-office requirement. But among federal employees who say their duties can be performed from home, 85 percent are in opposition, according to the poll. Meanwhile, 70 percent of workers who say they can’t work remotely back the mandate.

Silly comment. It's the Judge's job to rule on whether DOGE illegally violated American citizens privacy rights. That's what the Judge did. If DOGE wants to stop crying about losing all these Court cases, all they need to do is stop breaking the law.

Dudek, in a series of interviews following the judge’s decision, criticized the ruling as being overly broad and threatened to terminate access to sensitive data for every employee at the agency, arguing they could all be considered “DOGE affiliates.”

My anti-fraud team would be DOGE affiliates. My IT staff would be DOGE affiliates,” Dudek said in an interview with Bloomberg News on Thursday. “As it stands, I will follow it exactly and terminate access by all SSA employees to our IT systems.”
“Really, I want to turn it off and let the courts figure out how they want to run a federal agency,” he added.

Maybe the judge should have written it in colored crayons, with illustrations. Then, the morons might be able to understand it.

They certainly couldn't do a worse job than you, Lee.

At least under the supervision of the courts, it would operate under the rule of law instead of the rule of fascist thugs.

″For almost 90 years, Social Security has never missed a paycheck — but 60 days into this administration, Social Security is now on the brink,” Lee Saunders, president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, said in a statement in response to Dudek’s comments. Hollander’s ruling was in a lawsuit that a coalition of unions and retirees, including AFSCME, a trade union, brought against the Social Security Administration.

Dudek “has proven again that he is in way over his head,” said Saunders. He said that under Dudek’s leadership the agency has compromised Americans’ security, shut down certain agency services and planned layoffs.

In a separate statement, Nancy Altman, president of Social Security Works, said Dudek’s leadership has been the “darkest in Social Security’s nearly 90 year history.”

Hundreds if not thousands of employees are indirectly doing DOGE activities at SSA. I know because I work in an RO and are one of them

Anonymous said...

continuing to make mistakes I see...

Anonymous said...

Aren't Russo himself, and by proxy Leland, "DOGE-affiliated?"

Anonymous said...

I didn't think it's Dudek. I don't believe he's making these decisions but is being told what to do by those above him.

Anonymous said...

his 15 minutes of fame are UP!!!=Dudek is an idiot.

Anonymous said...

Agreed, it will be overturned.

What sort of DOGE activities? Do tell. The public ought to know.
