Sure, No Problem

      From Forbes:

Elon Musk lauded his Department of Government Efficiency in a Thursday interview with Fox News, saying the work of the agency, which has drawn criticism over its sweeping and rapid layoffs to the federal workforce, will allow Social Security recipients to “receive more money.” …

Of course, because less expenditures would change all of the rules governing how benefits are calculated. :)

The more he runs his mouth, the more ignorant he is about the function of SSA.

I read that as well. I am guessing that that means that SS will be solvent longer than expected? He should have elaborated!

That’s not how this works, that’s not how any of this works.

Only if the Doge boys credit my earnings record with more $$$, while they’re looking at things illegally. Agent orange, E and Dudek are the poster boys for waste, fraud, and abuse.

Watched the interview and these guys are wildly popular with the public.

Tell me you are rich and foreign born and know nothing about SSA without saying I know nothing about SSA.

DOGE Plans to Rebuild SSA Codebase In Months, Risking Benefits and System Collapse

The so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is starting to put together a team to migrate the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) computer systems entirely off one of its oldest programming languages in a matter of months, potentially putting the integrity of the system—and the benefits on which tens of millions of Americans rely—at risk.

He was just saying what he thinks beneficiaries want to hear.

Remember some of his businesses are in the crapper.

Billionaires only care about money.

Didn't Frank Bisignano say that COBOL is not the problem in the hearing with the Senate finance committee?

I keep hearing the same words, including in this interview where Elon Musk described DOGE's work as "a revolution" and within the Agency, messages that "we must collapse government." Anyone stringing this all together knows it doesn't end well.
